Import/Export Android phone contacts to Microsoft Outlook

Follow these steps to transfer your Android contacts to Microsoft Outlook:

  • 1. On your Android phone go to address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
  • 2. Hit menu button to open the menu.
  • 3. Choose "Import/Export" option.
  • 4. Click "Export to SD card".
  • 5. Copy exported file from SD card (should be named something like 00001.vcf) to your PC.
  • 6. Run vCard ImportExport application to import resulting vCard files to Microsoft Outlook:
    • a) Select first task in wizard tasks.
    • b) Choose Outlook contact folder to import Android contacts to and in the second field choose a location where vCard file from SD card is saved.
    • c) Choose duplicate management settings according to your needs.
    • d) Click "Finish" to complete the import.

Import/Export Microsoft Outlook contacts to Android phone

Follow these steps to transfer your Microsoft Outlook contacts to Android:

  • 1. Run vCard ImportExport application to export contacts to vCard file:
    • a) Select second task in wizard tasks.
    • b) Choose Outlook contact folder for export and in the second field choose a location to save the contacts to (can be your Android SD card).
    • c) Choose additional settings according to your needs.
    • d) Click "Finish" to complete the export.
  • 2. Copy resulting vCard files from your PC to your Android phone's SD card.
  • 3. Go to your address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
  • 4. Hit menu button to open the menu.
  • 5. Choose "Import/Export" option.
  • 6. Click "Import from SD card".
