Import/Export Android phone contacts to Microsoft Outlook
Follow these steps to transfer your Android contacts to Microsoft Outlook:
- 1. On your Android phone go to address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
- 2. Hit menu button to open the menu.
- 3. Choose "Import/Export" option.
- 4. Click "Export to SD card".
- 5. Copy exported file from SD card (should be named something like 00001.vcf) to your PC.
- 6. Run vCard ImportExport application to import resulting vCard files to Microsoft Outlook:
- a) Select first task in wizard tasks.
- b) Choose Outlook contact folder to import Android contacts to and in the second field choose a location where vCard file from SD card is saved.
- c) Choose duplicate management settings according to your needs.
- d) Click "Finish" to complete the import.
Import/Export Microsoft Outlook contacts to Android phone
Follow these steps to transfer your Microsoft Outlook contacts to Android:
- 1. Run vCard ImportExport application to export contacts to vCard file:
- a) Select second task in wizard tasks.
- b) Choose Outlook contact folder for export and in the second field choose a location to save the contacts to (can be your Android SD card).
- c) Choose additional settings according to your needs.
- d) Click "Finish" to complete the export.
- 2. Copy resulting vCard files from your PC to your Android phone's SD card.
- 3. Go to your address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
- 4. Hit menu button to open the menu.
- 5. Choose "Import/Export" option.
- 6. Click "Import from SD card".
