How to import or export Android phone contacts to Microsoft Outlook?

Import/Export Android phone contacts to Microsoft Outlook

Follow these steps to transfer your Android contacts to Microsoft Outlook:

  1. On your Android phone go to address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
  2. Hit menu button to open the menu.
  3. Choose "Import/Export" option.
  4. Click "Export to SD card".
  5. Copy exported file from SD card (should be named something like 00001.vcf) to your PC.
  6. Run vCard ImportExport application to import resulting vCard files to Microsoft Outlook:
    1. Select first task in wizard tasks.
    2. Choose Outlook contact folder to import Android contacts to and in the second field choose a location where vCard file from SD card is saved.
    3. Choose duplicate management settings according to your needs.
    4. Click "Finish" to complete the import.

Follow these steps to transfer your Microsoft Outlook contacts to Android:

  1. Run vCard ImportExport application to export contacts to vCard file:
    1. Select second task in wizard tasks.
    2. Choose Outlook contact folder for export and in the second field choose a location to save the contacts to (can be your Android SD card).
    3. Choose additional settings according to your needs.
    4. Click "Finish" to complete the export.
  2. Copy resulting vCard files from your PC to your Android phone's SD card.
  3. Go to your address book (contacts app), select "Contacts" tab.
  4. Hit menu button to open the menu.
  5. Choose "Import/Export" option.
  6. Click "Import from SD card".
